Article Ambidexterity in Green Innovation: Organisational Consequences of Exploration and Exploitation Strategies(Istanbul Management Journal, 2025-12-31) Mutlu, CeyhanGlobal warming and climate change are driving organisations to pursue green innovation efforts, which aim to reduce environmental impact and achieve sustainability goals. However, green innovations can be costly and difficult for organisations to implement in the short term. This study explores the concept of green organisational ambidexterity, defined as the simultaneous pursuit of exploration and exploitation strategies in green innovation activities. Organisations can create novel and innovative green products and processes as well as improve existing green products and processes by combining exploration and exploitation strategies. This situation provides organisations to compete more strategically in the long and short term while also being more environmentally friendly. The purpose of this study is to reveal the theoretical and conceptual framework of the concept of green organisational ambidexterity by reviewing the research conducted within the scope of the literature review and addressing its effects on organisations and sectors. In this regard, proposals are made to advance the body of literature addressing the concepts of green psychological capital, digital-technology adaptation, green strategic leadership and green strategic tension. The findings are intended to serve as a guideline for future research.Article Ambidexterity in Green Innovation: Organisational Consequences of Exploration and Exploitation Strategies(Istanbul Management Journal, 2025-12-31) Mutlu, Ceyhan; Bakoğlu, RefikaGlobal warming and climate change are driving organisations to pursue green innovation efforts, which aim to reduce environmental impact and achieve sustainability goals. In this study, bibliometric analysis was conducted to evaluate the research trend on new ranking-based MCDM methods in the last decade, namely WASPAS, MABAC, EDAS, CODAS, COCOSO, and MARCOS. The various keyword combinations are searched on the Web of Science and the Scopus databases. Bibliometric analysis is carried out in R with the Biblioshiny app for the bibliometrix package. In total, 1,215 related publications are analyzed. The sources, authors, countries, and publications are examined in terms of production and total citation, and the most frequent keywords with trend topics are obtained. The summaries of the findings are as follows: The number of publications has increased over the years for all the methods. The most cited studies belong to the authors of the methods and fuzzy implementations related to the methods. For the author's impact and productivity, Zavadskas and Pamučar stand out. Turkey and India rank in the top five in terms of the number of publications produced on all methods. China is the most cited country for the three methods. According to keyword analysis, different research topics such as sustainability, renewable energy, optimization, supplier selection, hydrogen production and transport are investigated through these methods and other techniques are utilized, such as SWARA, AHP, TOPSIS, Best-Worst, DEMATEL, MAIRCA, and CRITIC.Article Water Accounting in Social Sciences: Trends, Developments, and Future Research Directions(2025-09-28) Öz, MerveWater accounting is crucial for providing integrated information that supports water governance and management. It provides a foundation for informed decision-making for various stakeholders who rely on water information for different purposes. Water accounting is not new; it has evolved significantly over the past three decades. This study systematically reviews publications in Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) journals within the Web of Science database through bibliometric analysis, examining the research trends and developments in water accounting. One hundred-five publications were analyzed, revealing fluctuating yet increasing research activity. The earliest recorded study dates to 2005, with a marked increase in publications after 2012. The Journal of Cleaner Production and The Journal of Sustainability are the leading sources, each contributing nine studies. Australia has emerged as a dominant contributor to water accounting research in social sciences, followed by China. Key trending topics in the field include water footprint, virtual water, consumption, trade, sustainability, and scarcity. Future research should focus on corporate water accounting, virtual water, and consumption patterns of entities and individuals and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration in water studies. This study aims to enhance academics' awareness and understanding of water accounting in water management, governance, water economics, and environmental accounting.Article The Stranger in My Pocket: A Research on the Intention to Use Digital Voice Assistants(Yaşar Üniversitesi E-Dergisi, 2025-10-30) Çizer, Ece Özer; Köse, Şirin Gizem; Bulut, Zeki AtılArtificial intelligence-driven digital voice assistants (DVAs) collect, use, and store user data to optimize the user experience. This function of digital assistants leads to privacy concerns, whereas brand trust becomes a mitigating factor in accepting digital voice assistants. Therefore, this study utilizes Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and extends the model by integrating privacy concern and brand trust. Data were collected from participants with tools integrated with DVAs and analyzed via structural equation modeling. Results demonstrate that privacy concern has a negative role, while perceived ease of use, brand trust, perceived usefulness, and attitude have positive roles in determining the usage intention of digital voice assistants. The findings also underline that privacy concern is the most important predictor of the intention to use DVAs and brand trust decreases privacy concern. Article The Mediating Role of Cultural Intelligence in The Relationship Between Personality and Cross Cultural Adaptability: A Research on Graduate Students(2024-01-24) Arıkboğa, Fatma Şebnem; Mutlu, CeyhanKüreselleşme hızlandıkça ve ülkelerin çevresel koşulları değiştikçe, bireylerin yaşam standartlarını arttırmak amacıyla, farklı ülkelerde yaşama isteği artmaktadır. Article Citation - WoS: 1Citation - Scopus: 4The Association of Subordinates' Perception of the Manager's Ambiguous Behaviors With the Likelihood of Conflict Occurrence: a Cross-Cultural Study(International Association for Conflict Management, 2024) Honuk, H.; Küçük, B.A.; Çağlar, C.T.The research aims to provide evidence to explain the contradictive findings in the literature on the organizational conflict phenomenon and the relationship between conflict and culture, by focusing on the relationship between ambiguous behaviors and conflict. To achieve this goal, in the context of low-status compensation theory, the relationship between incivility, humor as ambiguous behaviors, and the likelihood of managersubordinate conflict occurrence was investigated. To test the culture’s effect on this relationship, survey data were collected from 478 white-collar subordinates working in SMEs in Turkey and the UK. According to the results, the subordinate’s perception of the manager’s ambiguous behaviors affects the likelihood of relationship conflict and task conflict occurrence. In addition, the study reveals that culture is associated with the likelihood of relationship conflict occurrence but not task conflict. The study contributes to the literature by providing evidence for the relationship between humor, incivility, conflict, and culture. © 2024 International Association for Conflict Management.Article Citation - WoS: 3Citation - Scopus: 1A Configurational Analysis of the Impact of Entrepreneurial Orientation and Global Mindset on Export Performance of Smes(SAGE Publications Inc., 2024-12-05) Matemane, R.; Mintah, R.; Şahin, F.; Karadağ, H.Although contemporary literature provides several important insights into the role of attributes of SMEs, there is much less evidence on what configuration of entrepreneurial orientation and global mindset makes this process successful, that is, contributing to the export performance of SMEs. This study uses a fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis on a sample of 97 SMEs in Ghana to explore the potential complementary role between the entrepreneurial orientation dimensions and global mindset for superior export performance. The results indicate two different yet equifinal configurations of these factors that lead to a high level of export performance of SMEs. One of the configurations shows that proactive and innovative SMEs with managers high on global mindset achieve superior export performance regardless of their willingness to take risks. Another configuration indicates that regardless of the global mindset of managers, SMEs can achieve higher export performance by being proactive, innovative, and willing to take high risks. Several implications for theory and practice are discussed based on the findings. © The Author(s) 2024.Article Disentangling the innovation orientation, intellectual capital, and dynamic innovation capability relationships in emerging economy start-ups(World Scientific, 2023-10-01) Karadağ, Hande; Şahin, Faruk; Matemane, ReonArticle The association of employees' perception of the manager's ambiguous behaviors with likelihood of conflict occurrence: A Cross-Cultural study(Negotiation and Conflict Management Research, 2024) Konuk, Hızır; Aydın Küçük, Burcu; Tınaztepe Çağlar, CihanThe research aims to provide evidence to explain the contradictive findings in the literature on the organizational conflict phenomenon and the relationship between conflict and culture, by focusing on the relationship between ambiguous behaviors and conflict.
