Description
The Mechanical Engineering program integrates mathematics, fundamental science, engineering principles, and design courses, offering both breadth and depth. It offers optional courses in specialized areas like heat-fluid dynamics, micro/nano mechanical design and manufacturing, robotics and automation, and renewable energy systems. Integral to the program are mandatory summer internships, which play a pivotal role in bridging theory with practice, familiarizing students with work environments, and potential employers. These internships are coordinated and conducted in collaboration with workplaces, ensuring an integrated approach to application, analysis, and design within the program.

Program matematik, temel bilim, temel mühendislik ve mühendislik tasarım derslerini sentezlemekte ve ısı-akışkan, mikro/nano mekanik tasarım ve imalat, robotik ve otomasyon, yenilenebilir enerji sistemleri gibi alanlarda seçime bağlı derslerle genişlik ve derinlik sağlamaktadır. Programın bir parçası olan zorunlu yaz stajlarına, öğrencilerin teori ve pratiği birleştirmeleri, iş ortamlarını ve potansiyel işverenlerini tanımaları bakımından büyük önem verilmektedir. Bu stajlar iş yerleri ile koordinasyon ve işbirliği içinde tanımlanıp yürütülecektir. Böylece, programın, uygulama, analiz ve tasarım yönleriyle bütünleşik bir yapıda olması sağlanacaktır.
