| gperson.biography | Dr. Baris Erman graduated from Istanbul University Law Faculty in 1998. Later, he completed his master’s and PhD studies at the same university. During his PhD studies he was awarded the DAAD scholarship and spent one year at the Max-Planck-Institute for foreign and international criminal law in Freiburg, Germany. After obtaining his PhD with a dissertation on "Mistake in criminal law," he worked as an assistant professor at various universities and joined MEF University in 2024. Dr. Baris Erman specializes in criminal law, international criminal law, medical law, and AI law. Dr. Barış Erman, 1998 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesi'nden mezun olmuştur.Aynı üniversitede yüksek lisans ve doktora çalışmalarını tamamlamış, doktora çalışmaları sırasında DAAD bursu ile Almanya'nın Freiburg kentindeki Max-Planck Yabancı ve Uluslararası Ceza Hukuku Enstitüsü'nde bir yıl geçimiştiri. "Yanılmanın Ceza Sorumluluğuna Etkisi" konulu teziyle doktorasını tamamladıktan sonra çeşitli üniversitelerde yardımcı doçent ve doktor öğretim üyesi olarak çalışmış ve 2024 yılında MEF Üniversitesi'ne katılmıştır. Ağırlıklı alanları arasında ceza hukuku, uluslararası ceza hukuku, tıp hukuku ve yapay zeka hukuku yer almaktadır. | |
