Abstract

The Workshop was co-organized by MEF University and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies based in Geneva with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The ultimate objective of the Workshop, which was attended by decision-makers, technocrats, water experts and leading academics from Turkey, Syria, Switzerland, Germany and Holland, was to produce a much needed synthesis of academic works and technical studies that are conducted on the Asi River basin.
