Abstract: The number one security threat perceived by the authorities in the West, particularly the United States, is nuclear terrorism. In order to prevent such a contingency, world leaders gathered together in 2010, 2012, and 2014 in Washington, D.C., Seoul, and The Hague, respectively, to discuss the necessary measures to keep nuclear and radiological material away from the reach of terrorist organizations.
