    İnsanlığın topluluklar halinde yaşamaya başlamasının ve sanayi devriminin yaşanmasının ardından köylerden kentlere göçler başlamış, ülkemizde de bu durum 1950'li yıllardan itibaren baskın bir biçimde görülmüştür. Hal böyle olunca, kontrolsüz bir biçimde göçler başlamış ve yapılan göçler ile kentler kapasitesinin çok daha üzerinde konaklama yapılmasına maruz kalmıştır. Yaşanan yoğunluk sebebiyle kentlerde imara aykırı, sağlıksız, güvenli olmayan, düzensiz, alt yapı yetersizlikleri ile çarpık bir düzen yaşanmaya başlamıştır. Tüm bunlara ek olarak, ülkemizin deprem bölgesinde yer aldığı da düşünüldüğünde bu yerleşim biçiminin afet riskine karşı mal ve can kaybına sebebiyet vereceği de şüphesiz ortadadır. Günümüze kadar kentsel yaşama geçişi kolaylaştırmak ve sistemleştirmek adına birçok düzenleme yapılmışsa da; bu düzenlemeler uygulama alanı bulamamış, denetimler de gerektiği şekilde gerçekleştirilememiştir. Keza, denetim ve uygulamalar bir yana bırakılsın, imara ve hukuka aykırı yapılarla ilgili çıkarılan af yasalarıyla birlikte aykırılık adeta meşrulaştırılarak insanların yaşamı ve yaşam standartları hiçe sayılmıştır. Yaşanan bu olaylar ülkemizde artık gözden kaçırılmayacak bir hal almış, üstelik yakın geçmişte yaşanan depremler ile kayıplarının ardından bir yapılanma ihtiyacı hasıl olmuştur. Tam bu noktada, daha güvenli ve sağlıklı bir yaşam ile imara uygun bir kentleşme adına Kentsel Dönüşüm yasası kurtarıcı yapılmak istenmiş ve bu konuda özel bir kanun yürürlüğe girmiştir. Çalışmanın ilk kısmında kentsel dönüşümün ne olduğu, tarihçesi, amacı ve metotları ve hukuki düzenlemelere ilişkin bilgi verilmiş, ikinci kısmında kentsel dönüşümün esaslarıyla 6306 sayılı kanunun uygulama bulduğu yapılar, uygulanma biçimi, süreci ve tarafların alacağı kararlar nezdinde sürecin nasıl ilerleyeceği ile yargıya taşınması durumlarıyla ilgili detaylandırma yapılmış ve son kısmında anlaşamayan paydaşlara karşı kamunun ne şekilde müdahalelerde bulunabileceğine yer verilmiştir.

    Data Breach and Its Consequences in Aspect of Kvkk and Gdpr

    Kişisel verilerin korunması hukuku, günümüzde teknolojinin kullanımı günlük hayatın ayrılamaz bir parçası haline geldiğinden sürekli gündeme gelen, önemli bir konudur. Bu durum işlenecek kişisel mahiyetteki verilere ilişkin düzenlemelerin getirilmesini zorunlu kılmıştır. Bu ihtiyaç doğrultusunda 24.03.2016 tarihinde 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu yürürlüğe girmiştir. 25.05.2018 tarihinde ise, yine aynı ihtiyaç doğrultusunda Avrupa Birliği sınırları içerisinde uygulanmak üzere General Data Protection Regulation (Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü) yürürlüğe girmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu ve Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü uyarınca veri sorumlusunun yükümlülüklerinden biri olan veri güvenliğini sağlama yükümlülüğü incelenecek; veri güvenliği ihlali durumunda ilgili Veri Koruma Kuruluna ve ilgili kişilere bildirim yapma yükümlülüğü üzerinde durulacaktır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölümde, kişisel verilerin korunması hukukunun temel kavramları tez çalışmasının konusuyla ilgisi bakımından sınırlı olarak incelenmiştir. İkinci bölümde, veri güvenliği kavramı ve veri sorumlusunun veri güvenliğini sağlama yükümlülüğü KVKK, GDPR ve ilgili sair mevzuat ışığında incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise veri güvenliği ihlali kavramı incelenmiş, veri güvenliği sonucu olan bildirim yükümlülüğünün üzerinde durulmuş ve karşılaştırmalı bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır.     Equal Representation and Political Representation of Women in Turkey

    Bireylerin toplum içinde eşit ve adil bir düzen sağlama istekleri, demokrasinin temelini oluşturmuştur. Tarih boyunca bu sistem içerisinde, birey olarak varlığını kabul ettirmek için mücadele eden kadınların, hak arama mücadelesi günümüzde de devam etmektedir. Kadınların, toplum tarafından kendilerine biçilen rollere, kendilerini adamaları beklenirken birey olarak varoluş mücadeleleri, eril kurallar üzerine kurulu Dünya'da Fransız Devriminden, Kurtuluş Mücadelemize farklı olaylarda kendini göstermiştir. Bu bağlamda demokrasinin temel kriteri olan kadın erkek eşitliğinin, hala sağlanamadığı ve uygar Dünya olma yolunda gidilecek yolun çok olduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada temsil kavramına, demokrasi ve kadının insan hakları bağlamında yaklaşılmaktadır. Kavramsal açıklamaların ardından Dünya'da ve Türkiye'de kadınların hak mücadelesi tarihsel olarak ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada Türkiye Büyük Millet Meclisi'ne seçilen kadın milletvekillerine sorular yöneltilerek, temsil meselesine farklı bir pencereden yaklaşılmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çerçevede bir kadın devrimi olan Cumhuriyet'in 100. yılında, demokrasinin temelindeki kadın erkek eşitliği tablosunun ve kadının insan hakları mücadelesinin analizinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır.

    Küreselleşmenin bir sonucu olarak dünyayı etkileyen çeşitli büyük ölçekli krizler, işyeri üzerinde de önemli bir etkiye sahiptir. İşverenler söz konusu krizin etik boyutunu ortadan kaldırmak ya da en aza indirmek için işçilerin aleyhine uygulamalara başvurmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, krizlerin işyerindeki yıkıcı etkilerini geciktirmek ve işçilere yönelik haksız uygulamalara son vermek için istihdamı koruma politikaları geliştirilmiştir. İşsizliğin olası maliyetlerini en aza indirmek, mevcut işçilere iş güvencesi sağlamak ve elbette krizin etkisini en aza indirmek amacıyla, devlet desteğini de içeren ve iş güvencesi ilkeleriyle uyumlu bir kısa çalışma sistemi 2003 yılında 4857 Sayılı İş Kanunu madde 65 ile ulusal mevzuatımıza dahil edilmiştir.     Paths From Anxious Attachment To Cyber Dating Violence Perpetration in Emerging Adults: a Test of a Multiple Parallel Meditation Model

    The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating roles of self-perception, emotion regulation, and jealousy in the relationship between anxious attachment and cyber dating violence perpetration in emerging adults. In this context, cyber dating violence perpetration was considered as the dependent variable and anxious attachment as the independent variable. Self-perception, emotion regulation and jealousy were mediator variables. This research was conducted with 300 participants in the emerging adulthood (ages between 18 and 30) who were or are currently in a romantic relationship. While obtaining the research data, the Experiences in Close Relationships Scale Short Form, Emotion Regulation Difficulty Scale Short Form, Social Comparison Scale, Multidimensional Jealousy Scale, and Cyber Dating Abuse Scale were used. According to the results obtained from the research data, correlation analysis and 'Parallel Multi-Mediating Variable Analysis were performed to examine the relationship between the variables. According to the findings, parallel multiple mediation analysis of emotion regulation and jealousy in the relationship between anxious attachment and cyber dating violence was confirmed. The research findings were discussed within the scope of the literature and suggestions for research and practice were presented.

    Legal Liability of the Physician in the Context of Plastic Surgery in the Light of Supreme Court Decisions

    The topic of this thesis called ' Legal Liability Of The Physician In The Context Of Plastic Surgery Under Turkish Law ' basically aims to characterize the qualification of the plastic surgery under Turkish law and the legal responsibilities of the physician (plastic surgeon) that may arise in this context. First of all, the concepts related to plastic surgery will be explained by giving definitions of physician and patient. Afterwards, it will be explained in which cases the plastic surgery is considered legal in the doctrine. After the discussion of the legality of plastic surgery; the legal nature of the contract established between the physician and the patient for the purpose of plastic surgery, which has been the subject of different opinions in the doctrine, will tried to be revealed. After focusing on the discussions in the context of the contract of mandate, service contract, sui generis contract and contract of work in the doctrine, the evaluation of the legal relationship between the physician working in the private hospital and the patient will be made. In addition, the contractual responsibility of the physician in the context of plastic surgery will be examined. Under the topic of 'contractual responsibility of the physician', the obligation of examining the patient and asking questions about the diagnosis of the disease (anamnesis-medical history talking), the obligation of diagnosing the disease and choosing the most appropriate treatment, the obligation to start and execute the work on time, the obligation to inform, the duty of care, the obligation of loyalty and confidentiality, the obligation of personal performance will be discussed along with the obligation to provide tools, equipment and materials, obligation arising from defeat and the debt of recording the document. After explaining the contractual responsibility of the physician, the situations that occur in case of violation of the contractual responsibility will be revealed. Afterwards, the cases where the contract is terminated and the cases where the responsibility of the physician is limited in the contracts dealing with the plastic surgeries will be examined. After these explanations, the concepts of acting without authority and tort, which are the non-contractual liability cases of the physician, will be evaluated. Finally, explanations regarding non-pecuniary damages will be examined in our study.

    Children's Concept of Rules and Their Judgments on Crime and Punishment

    Turiel (1983) has documented in his studies that children judge rules differently based on different social domains. The aim of this research is to investigate how children evaluate rule violations and domain undifferentiated punishments encountered in schools and how they judge the punishments given by teachers for these situations. Additionally, students are asked to provide alternative ways for the behaviors mentioned in the stories, offering suggestions to teachers. As data collection tools, participants were initially asked four questions about their perceptions of class rules, and they were required to justify their answers. Subsequently, participants were engaged in semi-structured clinical interviews by reading six different hypothetical stories created from three social domains. The participant group of the research consists of 60 primary school students aged 6-9. The findings of the study indicate that young children (6-7 years old) perceive rules as more unchangeable compared to older children (8-9 years old). Consistent with previous studies, moral transgressions were found to be less acceptable compared to social-conventional and prudential domains.

    Paths From Fragile Masculinity To the Perpetration of Psychological Violence in Young Adult Men: a Test of a Serial Mediator Model

    In the literature, research on the relationships between fragile masculinity, perception towards psychological violence, jealousy and perpetration of psychological violence is quite limited in Turkey and in a sample of young adult men. Therefore, this study examines psychological violence on the basis of fragile masculinity, perception towards psychological violence and cognitive jealousy. The sample of the study consists of 160 young adult men between the ages of 18-30 with romantic relationship experience. The research data were collected through social media channels via an online form. The Fragile Masculinity Scale, Perceptions of Dating Violence Scale, Multidimensional Jealousy Scale and Multidimensional Emotional Abuse Scale Short Form were used to collect the data. Serial Multiple Mediating Variable Analysis was conducted using the PROCESS program. The study reveals that as the level of fragile masculinity of young adult men increases, perceptions towards psychological violence and the tendency to commit psychological violence through jealousy also increase. The findings obtained from the research were discussed within the scope of the literature and suggestions were made regarding the findings.

    The Mediating Role of Psychological Resilience and Self-Compassion in the Relationship Between Perceived Parental Support and Social Media Addiction

    The internet, which has entered our lives as a communication tool, has become an indispensable part of life and continues to exist in various realms through its evolving nature. One such domain is social media, which offers individuals the opportunity to present themselves in diverse ways and to foster more positive mental states. The desire to sustain this positive mental state can lead to social media addiction. Consequently, individuals may face serious problems significantly impacting their lives. Therefore, it is crucial to investigate factors potentially associated with social media addiction and to provide corresponding prevention and intervention services. Psychological resilience and self-compassion are considered significant factors for individuals with internet addiction as they are believed to enhance emotion regulation and impact addiction. The objective of this study is to examine the mediating role of self-compassion and psychological resilience in the relationship between perceived parental attention and social media addiction. The study's sample consists of 302 participants, and a correlational research model has been employed due to the examination of relationships between variables, along with descriptive statistics for these variables. A two-mediator model (Model 6) was utilized, leveraging the Hayes PROCESS analytical tool. The 'Demographic Information Form', 'Resilience Scale', 'Parental Attitudes Scale I-II', 'Social Media Addiction Scale', and 'Self-Compassion Scale' were used. The findings of the research reveal a relationship between the perceived parental attention of individuals and their social media addiction, with self-compassion playing a substantial mediating role in this relationship.

    Evaluations of Children and Parents on Parental Lies

    Piaget (2015) stated that the evaluation and justification of children's lying behavior in moral terms change according to cognitive developmental stages. Studies conducted on the paradigm of disappointing gift, a white lie area, have observed that it is found more acceptable compared to other areas of lies (Aydın, 2021; Warneken & Orlins, 2015; Gingo, Roded, & Turiel, 2019). The aim of this research is to investigate how children and parents evaluate and justify the lies told by parents. Participants were presented with seven different stories as data collection tools, and they were asked to assess and justify these stories. The participants in the first study were 35 children in the 5-6 age group and 35 children in the 10-11 age group. The participants in the second study were 68 parents with children aged 5-12. The results of the research revealed, in line with previous studies, that the most acceptable lie category is the disappointing gift paradigm, which falls under the category of white lies.
