The Department of Psychology is a forward-thinking department aspiring to lead the way in Türkiye, boasting academic staff who adhere to international standards in education and research. Our students will delve into psychological phenomena, experimental methods, and data analysis techniques through Flipped Learning (Active Learning) approaches. They will actively engage in designing and conducting experiments and projects, fostering hands-on learning experiences. Moreover, we strive to cultivate an environment where students actively contribute to departmental research projects, honing their academic skills while benefiting from dedicated research facilities. To achieve this, we prioritize learning diverse research methodologies, fostering scientific critical thinking, and cultivating applied learning skills. With the guidance of our talented, research-active, and globally recognized faculty members, we are committed to delivering this high-quality education.

Psikoloji Bölümü, uluslararası standartlarda eğitim ve araştırmayı benimsemiş akademik kadrosuyla Türkiye’nin ilk sıralarında yer almayı hedefleyen iddialı bir bölümdür. Öğrencilere Flipped Learning (Aktif Öğrenme) yöntemi ile psikolojik olguların yanı sıra deneysel yöntemler ve veri-analizi teknikleri gösterilecektir. Öğrenciler düzenli olarak kendi deney ve projelerini tasarlayacak ve yürüteceklerdir. Bunun yanı sıra, öğrencilerin akademik becerilerini geliştirmeleri için bölümün araştırma projelerine katkı sağlayabilecekleri bir ortam oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır ve bu doğrultuda öğrencilerimiz araştırmaya adanmış olanaklardan faydalanabileceklerdir. Bu doğrultuda farklı araştırma metodolojileri öğrenme, bilimsel kritik düşünme ve uygulamalı öğrenim becerileri edinilmesine önem verilmiştir. Bu kaliteli eğitimin, yetenekli, araştırma yönü aktif ve uluslararası standarttaki öğretim görevlilerimiz öncülüğünde verilmesi hedeflenmektedir.
